I hadn't started my bike for about 4 months....possibly longer. Lugged it out of the workshop yesterday when it was freezing cold, realised I still had a full tank of petrol and thanked myself for using Mountfield petrol preserver when I last filled up. Turned on the ignition, pressed the start button just once and it fired immediately. Jumped on it and intended to do a reasonable trip but only did about 3.5 miles because I was so cold. I think I had better wait for some warmer weather.
It was bloody cold this morning!, heated gloves made it ok but could’ve done with an extra layer, sometimes 2 sweatshirts under the leather just ain’t enough!
