Was out local in the car and came across a young lad on a Panigale V2 Marc Marquez, he'd attempted a U turn at low speed but lost the front on gravel, as I arrived he was a little trapped under the bike, 2 girls had also stopped just before me but weren't sure what to do, I helped him pick up the bike, brand new, he had only picked it up yesterday, less 100 miles on the clock, I was utterly heartbroken for him as we both assessed the damage, scuffed foot brake lever, scuffed exhaust heat cover, scuffed bar ends, front brake leaver, all easily replaceable but it was the horror that set in when we identified the scuffs on the upper fairing. He had hurt his hand a little but seemed ok thank god. I can't begin to imagine how awful he's going to feel after the shock subsides, his pride & joy dropped so early on but good for him for diving in and committing to buying such a beautiful motorcycle, really hope you have no injuries and you manage to get it all fixed up. The emotions these bikes give us, good & bad can only be understood by those who know.
