I have kept and bred Fancy Rats for 22 years I am also a championship small animal judge ( I get to walk about shows in a white lab coat). They are very smart critters ... I mainly breed Rex rats which have curly hair.

This is our other pet..... Meet troy We did have two Rossi was our girl duck but unfortunately we lost her last year at 1 year old due to being egg bound.....basically when a duck sometimes tries to lay they can get the egg stuck and it causes paralysis to the lower body resulting in instant death very sad :-(
We did consider it but we had Troy and Rossi from 8 weeks old and they were inseparable, he's actually got so much character now and when we got Mille the springer he found himself a new mate! What concerns us is that if we did get another he could actually attack it as male ducks can be a bit aggressive toward females....possibly more so in the wild. Tbh think he's happy enough! He's also got a thing about butch's trainers when he's a bit frisky!!
Awesome!! Did they stay long? Before Rossi died she sat on 18 eggs for a month unfortunately due to the bad weather rain snow ice etc none hatched was a little gutted really as I wanted a load of little ones running around!!!
I like ducks and Geese .. This is my friends goose Spruse she was last years Christmas fodder but she got a reprieve ... She's really nice and as you can see tame marches in when she feels like it! Also begs for lettuce. They also have runner ducks they hatched who are very cute but not tame.
ducks are great .............................if you wanna spend your life washing down duck shit and replacing plants everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also troy likes my bike ....a bit too much, and if the covers off he'll attack the carbon belly pan reflection ............................
My parents had Peacocks for years and they used to peck at the metal hubcaps on the car and sit on the warm bonnet, dad spent a small fortune having his car resprayed.
