Meet Cooper , a working cocker.
6 week old in first pic, 12 in 2nd pic.
Very clever dog, easy to train.
Loves ratching round my garage, then taking off like usain bolt with bits of car/bike in his mouth. Takes some catching too...

  10. Mine don't run anywhere, unless there's a treat in it, or a puddy tat around, the big fat lazy dollop, but wouldn't have it any other way :D

  13. All but 1 gone to their new homes now. The last 1 (Dylan, the whiter faced one) goes next Saturday. He's to be a pet first, but will also be a Therapy Dog in British Legion care homes near Salisbury. Here's how they all turned out.... 14. I was considering getting a cat and Calling it Crutchlow as both would spend a lot of time in the kitty litter.

  20. Weird how I look at pics of mutts on this thread and think of the mutts that have been my friend and are still in my thoughts. I have a lot of time for mutts, sometimes I think they know they don’t have much time and make the most of it. They want to live life and don’t waste time getting all pissed off.
Small animals are just a million mile an hour, the bigger they get, the more chilled. Dogs just seem to have the balance.
People are here for how many years, unfortunately, some leave far to early, but unfortunately it’s those that remain feel the pain. Isn’t that called growing up or some bullshit reason.
So, why are we here on average, so to speak, here for 80years, why? We are one of the most destructive animals on the planet. The age thing is a generalisation. I think it’s something to do with the reproductive system and all that, but we are really fucking things up.
Maybe not, my dogs appear content, after all they have food, water, shelter, someone to throw a ball, so are they the smart ones.
