This forum is easy. You can just copy and paste images directly off the web or from your hard drive, but in my experience, it's the exception. Most forums you can't, you need to copy a URL from a hosting site. That's why I signed up to photobucket. Fortunately I only use it for forum postings, not business, and all the images I stored on there are still on my PC anyway so if the site is too slow to get on there and close my account down I'll just abandon it. Are there no alternatives? What about FlickR or Tinypic?
