Please, Help With Ducati Customer Service!

  1. ChrisDS - they have one year for less to do it. Manager of Ducati service took my motorcycle and ride on it several days - the problem doesn't happen him.

    GunZenBomZ - All last month I use Hypermotard 2016 of the dealer. It regular Hypermotard, not SP. But it is enough. I want to take my money and go to other company with better customer service.
     
  2. I found the dates. The clutch level was changed at 25 May 2016 and the breaking happened before it at:

    18 Mar 2016

    15 Apr 2016

  4. The breaking like it happend to other owner of Hypermotard SP 939 2016 in Canada. He took a new motorcycle after one month.
     
  5. I should note that our local Ducati dealer is a very nice person and does everything in his capabilities to find a solution to the problem. And Ducati Hypermotard SP is so beautiful ... how can I leave all this? :cry:

  7. I believe the Dead Sea at least is actually below sea-level. Maybe the ecu simply isn't configured to allow for the resultant and literally extraordinary increase in atmospheric pressure that you would get below sea level.
    If this is the case, maybe the add on fuelling module that has been suggested might help...

    Just a thought, perhaps people like @chrisw or @antonye might know if high atmospheric pressure might be a problem.
     
  8. Old rider, I know about Dead Sea, but the problem happens near Jerusalem and I'm living in Jerusalem, to second Israeli SP it's happed near Jerusalem too. Other Ducati customer with this limp mode problem I found in internet lives in Los Angeles, so I don't know that is a source.
     
  9. I hope that Ducati will sort your issue our. Fingers crossed...
    Unfortunately I must admit that Ducati Customer Service is basically useless.
    I own new Panigale with some issues and can't get any reasonable answer from them except-"contact your local dealer and we will get back to you...." It lasts already few weeks and it looks like that we are not the only Ducati 's enthusiasts with some problems that Ducat can't handle...so disappointed.

  12. I speak with our local Ducati dealer every two-three days. Last time - yesterday. More that two months total taken together my SP was in the local Ducati official service. They still looking for decide.
     
  13. I didn't ask about whether you'd spoken to your local deal, I asked if you'd spoken to the official Ducati importer.
     
  14. It is a same. Our importer is manager of Ducati service and it's a Ducati dealer.

  16. Sorry, El Toro, you didn't read my older posts. I wrote several times to Ducati customer service, twice spook with it and always they sent me to the dealer, just like maska321 wrote. And I looking for decide in worldwide Ducati community. Could I?
     
  17. As I mentioned in my previous post Ducati Italy will redirect you to your local Dealer...

I don't think the atmospheric pressure reading will be the cause .....most modern ecms are adapted to read higher or lower atmospheric than just sea level ...... a simple test would be un plug the atmospheric sensor so the engine will just use it manifold pressure sensors to reference the atmospheric reading thus doing away with any incoherence between sensors .

    Rudi ,you say you get lamda lean mixture fault codes ....this information is from the Ducati code read on the engine diagnostic ?
    Do you find that the bike rides for so long then breaks down after the same period of time regardless of where you ride it ?

    Do you find it breaks down more with a full tank of fuel .....half at tank ..... or lower than half a tank of fuel ?

    When the bike breaks down does it just lose throttle response but the bike will keep idling ?

    If you turn the key on and off quickly does the bike come back to life straight away .


    Some one said it back in the posts , is the fuel tank venting , a simple test is to ride without the fuel filler cap on ....obviously if the tank is very full you could end up with fuel spills around your groin area ...you could end up with bonfire bollocks ( the translation of this will be funny guys ) things may go askew in translation .

  19. Not if you tell them you've exhausted every avenue with the dealer/importer.

    And like I said this is a matter for them rather than speculation on a UK users forum.
