Plymouth And Spain

  1. Achewey, screw it! I can't stand it!

I'll do a factory reset. If I lose my train ticket then I'll buy a paper one in Plymouth. This will be in about two weeks time and my sanity is more important.

ONE BIG PROBLEM. The eSIM. IF I do a factory reset, does my eSIM get binned? If so, it will have to wait. Anyone know?

The first is a photo on my iphone and so is the second. They were taken years ago and were perfectly OK. The third was taken just now to prove that it's not this tablet's camera.

As I said, if it wasn't for not wanting to lose the eSIM, the phone would be binned right now.

I would look into emailing the SIM to me, so that the phone goes in the trash. I can't take pictures with it, so it will just go in a draw. I'll take it back to England so I can phone O2 just to get a normal SIM for my old Samsung. Then, that will be me done with Apple. I've seen nothing to impress me and I will write off the money. It was well spent to learn an important lesson.

  3. Perry the first pic of the bridge and buildings is like a negative. The second one seems the same and is blurred. The third is taken into the light.

What is the significance of posting these pics?

  4. I've Googled and have things to try. Another day as I am too angry to even bother look. I'll take this tablet and the phone, where I still have hotel Wi-Fi on a different day.

The priority tomorrow is to look into to flying somewhere. Anywhere!

  5. The first two were perfectly OK when taken. They got imported into the Apple phone when I got the phone not long ago. That's how they look now after being "Appled' and the third was taken just now to prove that it's not my tablet camera.

I realise that it may come as a shock, but that's really how shit my Apple phone is.

  6. 28th May 2024 you can see is the date of one of the pics. I haven't kept a shit pick for so long so as to make up a story of a shit Apple phone.

  7. It might be this?

If your newly imported iPhone photos look like negatives, your iPhone's Classic Invert accessibility setting is likely turned on.

    How to Fix It
    Check your iPhone Display Settings
If your photos look like negatives while viewing them on your phone, you have likely enabled color inversion.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size.Scroll down and toggle off Classic Invert (or Smart Invert).

  8. Does anyone know if a phone reset will mean losing the eSIM. If I don't loose my eSIM then I will just do a reset,

  9. If I cannot just reset the phone then I'll try that and report back. Don't know when as I just cannot stand the fecking thing. It makes me angry just to to look at it.

  10. I've never done it...

Googling this -on your behalf- has mixed results and a most results say that there is a process you must complete to reinstall your e-sim or it will no longer work.

If you are in real need of assistance, you could try the local Apple retailer (not an official Apple store)

    The full address is:
    K-tuin Santander

  11. And by the way, I am in Sweden today, as I'm sure the website managers noticed. It might be Canada tomorrow!

  12. If that's the case, I'll leave it until I am back in the UK. There, I have another working phone on a different number. I'll get this ESIM converted to a physical SIM for my SAMSUNG. I'll do a factory reset on the iphone and I don't need to have an eSIM. Either if it works or not, I won't keep the phone. I'm done with Apple.

  13. Exleast you should get most of your money back 80% ish. They are in demand.
Can’t wait to hear your adventures of the latest Samsung

  14. Hi. As I said earlier, I’ve had apple for years. But recently they have become far to complex for me to use at my age. It seems every upgrade brings more stages to complete tasks that were previously simple. I feel your pain and have been there many times. Jez is giving you great advice, but I feel from experience once you overcome one problem another will soon be looming. Ditch them now, like I will at end of contract, and purchase something that’s more user friendly for yourself. Just my thoughts.

  15. I've broken my vow to leave it as this is really pissing me off.

    That was already off.

    Still wazed off!
