  2. I’m not too keen about the slatnose units but they are collectors cars.
I bought a first owner green/Black Turbo cabrio slatnose and sold it to the UK two years ago!
    It went away for 215,000€
Now days I don’t have any because I don’t think they are worth this amount.

  3. My 38 year old 930 Turbo. Paid £25.000 for it in 1989 . Thinking of selling while prices are high. Porsche.jpg

  5. A five speed last edition is well worth this days!
But does it have 15” wheels?
    I congrats for nice car!

  6. My daily driver is a manual 997.1 turbo which I bought about 18 months back. Ive done over 20k miles in it since then. A big part of my "man maths" behind such a purchase was the zero or low deprecation factor. Looking at current prices, had I just parked the car up and not used it id probably have gained £10k on it. But, since I am mad enough to be using it daily, thats obviously affected the value, but I dont think I would loose much, if anything if I sold it now.

As it is, im planning to devalue it even more by getting it remapped. Ive already got race intercoolers & pipework sitting in my garage ready to fit.

  7. Bahhhh.... Stout fellow! You won't regret it. Zorst? Decat? You've seen my posts on 911UK?

And I'm not so sure you'll devalue it. You can always reinstate to standard if you wish.

  8. I'd love an old 1971 Carrera, but alas I aint got silly money. I'd caress that car to death and spend eternity washing it and cleaning it.

  9. That's what I do! Drives the Mrs potty... Same with my bike too. And they're not all silly money, loads to choose from.

  10. Im already batting above average with a 916 and a 1299S. I'd have to give up eating and paying mortgage to also include for an old Carrera. Im already dressed in rags and living a no going out life as booze = less money to spend on my bikes.

  12. Pics from my 944 turbo with complete carbon fibre wide body made by me,
    900kg/400kg.
The red one was the original 968Cup car.
The funny thing with the old front engine cars is that you can hunt a lot of modern GT3 with them:p

  13. Wow! Amazing! I'd love to embark on something like this. Maybe when I retire.... And err, what's with the banana skins on the front splitter?

  14. That was just a banana splito_O

  15. The do88 bits apparently give a massive amount more flow to the engine, something like 40% more at least. Im not that far from ES Motors, so im figuring their catless exhaust, a 890 sachs clutch, bmc air filter and a remap, along with the bits I already have should see 600bhp from what ive read. Depending on air intake temps they might even be able to get 650 although they love their meth once you get to that power and above. Mines never going to be on a track or flat out on autobahns, so the do88 intercoolers should keep temps low enough hopefully. I keep meaning to pop over and have a word with them, but just havent had the time.

  17. ES Motors certainly seem to know what they're doing so you'll be safe with them. It'll be laugh out loud daft quick when you get it back. Enjoy!

  18. Wow
Very nice. And that's a very clean E type. What year is it? 63? Love the Targa though. Even though it's got too much writing on the back. I'll take it though!!
