I think if you have the money you will find one, that price above is incorrect, its not that high for the 500 normal and the Tricolor which is not listed anymore was a little lower! if you put 600 in a line its a lot of bikes, and the world is in bad place, safer to buy a chunk of gold, and looks as good!
You best hope Ducati UK dont read this as the NDA in the the email cites possible financial penalties if anyone posts up pictures, though it is unclear how they would track down an individual.
Hence why I have been cryptic in my post, I don’t list the prices or post pics, I think that they would just cross you off their VIP list if they saw, but don’t forget this is titbit is good marketing for them, that why they did it, intrigue, some info, creates discussion and promotes, they knew someone would post odd pics
Let’s be honest…. Ducati plan for it to be leaked and shared. It’s another way to drive buzz for free…. exactly like MCN seems to SOMEHOW always get the ‘spy’ shots of every single new triumph testing in Spain and do a 2 page spread on it…. btw the people buying this bike wouldn’t care if it was pink and had chocolate wheels. It’s in a different category of decadence and greed. It’s embarrassing. maybe some will say that’s jealousy talking but personally I would spend £200k buying a desmo and a SuperLeg mk1 that I could ride a bit, they would hold their value and be good investments. there are plenty of ‘good Ducati customers’ on this forum that probably regularly buy new V4’s and top end models that are probably excluded by this new marketing strategy, I hope they don’t rely on these good customers when the UAE and Saudi prince money stops selling them bikes
my 2p is it just mirrors the v4s limited run bikes which they have not had any problem selling either at daft prices. At the moment from what i have seen is whilst the latest SL is very special and has some firsts on production road bike (carbon brakes and fork tubes) the pricing of it between 150-200 doesn't stack up to what is in effect a bored out v4r with full the carbon parts bin thrown at it. Is it special enough for that price? I don't think so. Now if it was a detuned Desmosedici moto gp bike with some lights then that is a different story.
pictures look AI generated, what sort of Ducati logo is that on the fairing? Says OUCEN lol. The lower fairing logo is distorted, the Brembos just have a red line across them. The spokes on the rear wheel are a mess, can’t really tell what the track stand is holding onto. It’s well moody
