  1. OMG! You could have a NCR New Blue for less!

  2. Fpmsl people believing what they read on the internet. Bet they also think regular oil blows up engines in Ducatis

  3. Just a styling exercise rather than any substance on all those sport classic bikes

  4. I used to think so too.....until I bought one. The SC1000, 1000S really are good bikes. You can sort the suspension by changing spring rates and oil to suit you, the engine responds well to basic level tune, and the bike really turns heads.

Ducati did the right thing putting the DS in this chassis. It is a great bike., which unfortunate not many people will ever get the chance to enjoy.

  5. I had great fun out of my SC1000S.However I did find the riding position extreme,as did the road testers when it first came out.It went well and I was sad to see it go.I did a back to back test with it and my Mh900,for me the MH was the least uncomfortable of the two.It looks very much as if I will have to sell the Mh in the not to distant future as I am not well suited now to the riding position. All these types of bikes are great especially if you are the right size and shape or have young bones.:upyeah:

  6. Well...i've just realised why i bought a gt1000 ducati.Having read all the above threads everybody is right, you need to be a complete wanker to buy a ducati, the handbrake was right after all :)

  7. I had seen a brand new PS1000LE in a glass cabinet in EuroSports Coopersburg Pennsylvania last year, Paul Smart was in town and he was coming that evening to sign the bike, never seen a price tag on it but I guess it will be silly money

  8. It has some nice bits on it and this exhaust cost stupid money, but the price is still ridiculous. I was wondering why PS were relatively 'cheap' and common comparing to other SC models, but it looks like it's changing now.

  9. I think the Sc models price bubble has burst.A few sold last year for pretty decent prices, and now the punters have started to push the prices to stupid levels. All the models are nice including the GT's and Paul Smarts, but are meant to be ridden and not stuck in a case as 'collectors' items.Having said that,I do not want to offend anyone who collects bikes for reasons other than riding, each to their own.:upyeah:
