Putins Antics, Anyone Concerned?

  1. Agreed. The historic situation in Eastern Ukraine is not entirely dissimilar to Northern Ireland in terms of factionalism and divided loyalties. If the people of the region cannot themselves agree on their national identity it is certain to be provocative for Europe or NATO to pronounce on where borders should lie.

  2. I think you'll find Putin's the one with the stick, and he's doing the poking,he wants to pretend Glasnost never happened.
NATO et al are just walking backwards , telling their respective populations that it's alright,he's only messing about...
The only reason NATO exists is because of what was then perceived as the Russian threat during the cold War...it's not that long ago that they were facing off across the border between East and West Germany.
The poor bastards in the former Soviet states are probably crapping themselves as their so-called friends in the West argue the toss about whether they are worth fighting for....they,(including Ukraine),have had a couple of decades or relative freedom, now they find that all the rhetoric of standing up for International Law is just hot air.
One can only hope that the Yanks starting sabre-rattling and scare the twat into backing off, otherwise it'll only get worse..."we're all doomed,I tell ye!"....

  3. Well said, he's a Cu*t

  4. Putin doesn't want NATO right up on his border. He has always wanted a buffer. He used to have Poland Baltic States Hungary Ukraine etc between Russia and the West. If as their paranoid minds thought the West attacked they had to fight over a lot of ground before they got to Russia whereas he could roll right up to the West before the fighting started. He wants that back again

  6. We ought to be aware that without Rusha the Germans would have defeated all of Europe . In the recent past they have not been the aggressors and infact have kept us , along with many others , from an unknown fate . Im not saying that I agree with his moves but Rusha hasnt been the worst of the last century.

  7. Ask anyone from Eastern Europe what they think of us 'giving' Russia their countries instead of Germany taking them. It was one of the biggest criminal acts of the last century and is so easily dismissed by so many of us in the West.

  8. Bet the jews dont think that.

  9. 2 wrongs don't make a right. I did say one of the biggest criminal acts, not the biggest...

  10. How many million have to die before Russia is the worst of the last century?
Stalin had some competition with Hitler and Mao, but it's a bit like choosing which turd stinks the most.
Koba The Dread: Laughter and the Twenty Million: Amazon.co.uk: Martin Amis: 9780099438021: Books would at least open the question up for debate.

  19. Ukrainian builders working for a mate reckon the border of their country was drawn far too far east, incorporating a population comprising almost entirely of ethnic Russians who have no Ukrainian identity, so lay the blame for the situation with their own government.

  20. Nor was the Jewsish murders the biggest criminal act, just the one we hear about the most.
What about all the trade unionists, homosexuals, gypsy's and Poles that died!
