My BIL went from an Enduro to a DX and raves about it, but he is probably 15 kgs lighter than me. If I didn’t want to tour with hard luggage I’m sure it’s the way I’d go.
You could also consider the original Lucky Strike 900ie Elefant...I still see minters every now and again (usually restored by passionate people!), iirc some people have added the 6speed gearbox from the E900 (1994/1995) making for a even better all rounder.
