999 Quick Release Fuel Line Fittings .

I know it's been a while, but has anybody got a success story to tell regarding replacement/alternatives for the OEM Quick Coupling Union. My '06 999s has started leaking fuel

 

Hi Richard... the only success I got was to pay an arm and a leg for some from Ducati. They were costly.. but a plug and play solution.

 

Were they the plastic ones on sale for about £15 each?

 

Think so... not sure of the price now as bought 6 a few years back. Yep - was just Replacements for the original part number.

 

I think I'll just bite the bullet and get a couple. One's failed, the other one can't be far off either. Thanks for the help

 

Leaks are usually fixed with new o rings, they should be lightly greased on reassembly and every time the fitting is reattached to the tank to minimize the risk of nicking the o rings, its very easily done. Replacement ones have been available for reasonable prices from @Exige on here.

 

Don't do the 999 ones, just the earlier type I'm afraid...
