  1. If I find out in time that a delivery is to be by EVRI I get it delivered to a local shop. The local drivers are great, but EVRI are the worst company to deal with. Glad that they're being publicly exposed and investigated.

  2. Yes, they were previously known by their “customers” (victims?) as Herpes. And no, that’s not a typo.

  3. I’m amazed to see Amazon are rated so highly given the amount of parcels that are handed to the customer when the customer isn’t at home, left stuck in the letterbox or otherwise left in plain sight. But then if you click the related link, it doesn’t take you to a complaints procedure so maybe that’s why…

  4. agree - as per earlier post, it's Evri "management" that are putting their Couriers in the firing line.

  5. They’re a garbage company IMO, but typical of large parcel organisations.

Non of these delivery companies are any better than their nearest rival.

Possibly the worst experience we’ve had for work is the delivery driver self signing the delivery that he didn’t even attempt to make.

Amazon are a little bit useless on their sites but I’ve been paid a lot of money not to work on their sites as their employees are a little bit more brain dead than is the case elsewhere.

  6. The instructions on my Amazon account state that if I don't answer the bell (which the delivery drivers rarely bother to ring anyway) they should leave packages behind the wheelie bins. I have now lost count of the number of times they have left packages in one of the bins.

  7. Different world now isn’t it everyone feels entitled to get everything delivered when they want now.

Remember when our shops disappeared from the high street cos people were using supermarkets “for convenience”….they can’t even be bothered to do that anymore there’s more workers collecting online orders than customers most times I go in Tesco now.

Someone collecting on minimum wage and someone delivering etc….

  8. Yes & probably underpaid the delivery people then too,

  9. I had murders with them ended up losing nearly a grands worth of laminate flooring they damaged.
Impossible to contact and even get them to acknowledge and sounds like they’ve continued that theme under the new branding.

  10. Though TBF Amazon deliver the next day. So if you aren't going to be home, don't order, or have a weatherproof box or some other arrangement like unlocked porch or shed...

Typically couriers don't get paid for undelivered items, but they still have used their time, vehicle & fuel when they are made to deliver 16+ parcels per hour via the app for £12.50 or less. So I've little sympathy for buyers -safe place, be at home or doorstep imo. Thats what I do myself, and I've had very few issues.

    Edit
They don't get sick pay or holiday pay zero benefits and are locked into van leases.
