I meant in a not that great kind of emoji, it’s kinda a contradiction in ask the question but remove the pad so you just can’t.
alternatively: – "not very well" is a possible answer, but overall, I think the NHS are doing bloody brilliant, all things considered.
I'm glad they are looking after you Chris. Personally I've been trying to get a non-urgent appointment for 2 weeks now and my surgery just keeps telling me to call back. I refuse to lie that it's urgent until it becomes so as I think that's part of their problem. last time I needed them them was 2 years ago, to remove 8 stitches in my leg, and I was trying to make an appointment 2 weeks in advance. My surgery told me Nurse appointments were booked out for 3.5 weeks, and suggested I go back to A&E to have them removed, which certainly isn't why they are there. All I'll say is that it helps having a Vet Nurse in the house. .
Understaffed, oversubscribed it’s a small wonder that it functions at all. It seems to me that you can only ‘easily’ access the NHS in an emergency. Trying to get a GP appointment is nigh on impossible. But the same GP seems to bombard me with appointments for a Well Man session or a screening for something. Perhaps one day I’ll turn up for a well man appointment with what really ails me should that become a thing for me. Luckily I’ve been extremely fortunate to have had no drain on the NHS since I was 11 years old, long May my lucky streak continue.
it's only because i'm in an "indisputably urgent" sector at the mo that i'm being treated relatively soon, which is an unexpected consolation. I won't be grumbling so much about my Council Tax this year as a retired person/as a result.
