Not to in any way disparage salient details such as lack of tyre treads or rock formations, vehicular beach access etc but

1. A Random pic for amusement purposes only.

2. "rich guy was meditating".
Rich guys are only found in Cornwall during the summer. There has never been a confirmed sighting of a rich guy meditating anywhere in the world, and certainly not outside in the rain, during winter, on a Cornish beach.

3. "Local kids built a sandcastle in front of him which spoilt his view"
Rich guys are generally not stupid, and could easily look to the right whilst chanting "Ohhhmmmm", therefore regaining his view.

might be a male mould to then make a female mould from a different material (would have been moulding sand/silica* etc in my day).



*bonded sand, oil sand also comes up

Its the artist, Jan van Eyck, dated 1434.

 

I didn't realise that that portrait contained such intricate images, incredible

 

It's not a huge picture either: 82 cm high by 60 cm wide. The mirror on the back wall is only about 5" wide on the canvas yet it's a detailed picture within a picture. The brush used must have been just a single hair.
