You don’t seem to be able to separate your distaste for him on account of his many character flaws and the absence of anything even approaching credible evidence of any wrongdoing on his part in the Epstein Files. I know that must have come as a huge let down for TDS sufferers, but it is what it is. As I pointed out recently, Trump seems to have fallen out with Epstein in 2005, which, fortunately for him, long predates the cache of emails which were on the servers. Trump does seem to be exceptionally lucky, but whether that is because he has the Mandate of Heaven or the Luck of the Devil is an open question. It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if he and Epstein had a mutual predilection for jailbait, as it was not at all uncommon for rich and famous men to do in the 80s and 90s, but wild and lurid accusations made by anonymous cranks to a public snitch line do not amount to evidence of wrongdoing. There’s a very good reason that hearsay, and especially anonymous hearsay, is inadmissible as evidence in criminal trials and while it is admissible in civil trials it is generally given virtually no weight. I’ve always been a passionate supporter of the right to trial by jury but it’s exchanges such as this one which make me wonder whether switching to judge-only trials would be such a bad idea after all.
I hear and understand what you say about anonymous hearsay............But there are plenty of women that have claimed that he and Epstein abused them.And experience tells me that there is no smoke without fire. Of course they could be saying those things as they see an easy pay day at the end of it all. Maybe. We'll let the jury decide shall we. But back to the job in hand.........Random Pictures
