  2. cheap what? harley? :D

  3. Phone blocker - you can get them from spy shop in London. They drop all networks within 100 yds

  4. no one will sign up to a phone blocker
, what im talking about is somethin that prevents the driver only from using their phone whilst driving

  5. I realise that Chiz but it's funny as fuck when you pull up next to some Charlie big potatoes in his £100K Ride and press the blocker and dump his call

  7. Proper illegal in UK and heavy shit if you get caught with one! You used to have an address outside of EU to order one. Most of the cheapie ones have a shit range but there are some Russian high power units that are incredible image.png

  8. the amount of hands free kits available there should no need to use a phone whilst driving
ok so don't report him ..........and a week later he hits a child or cyclist
using a phone whilst driving is illegal
although seems to be socially acceptable to many
it doesn't help when there seem to be pictures of police driving while using mobile phones doing the rounds on the net .....

  10. I worry more about the foreign lorry drivers who fiddle their tachometer and drive huge rigs 20/30 hours a day and are bang on sulphate and tabs to stay awake! I witnessed a Romanian lorry go from central lane of M25 into slow lane and up the embankment! He rolled the entire rig and flattened a family in an old ford galaxy completely.I doubt any of them survived it.Bloody terrible

  11. That blocks nuisance calls, it doesn't jam mobile phones.

  12. Really - it's nothing to do with nuisance calls - blockers drop the network signal

  13. You could report him to his employer but reporting the incident to the Police is fruitless. Even if you had caught him on his mobile via a dash cam there is no guarantee the Police will act on it. They would require the SD card the footage was taken on and a written statement. If they were to prosecute you could also find yourself required to give evidence in court.
The number of people I see holding a mobile to their ear whilst driving is staggering. I think I am more aware of them and worried about it as a motorcyclist. I tend to bellow "PHONE" from my drivers window as I pass them coming the other way which my girlfriend finds amusing.

  14. Id never grass someone up to their employers personally but you can certainly make them think you are. Camera phone take pics of licence plate/driver etc. Gives them something to think about for a while.

I passed some shitbag on the m25 this morning doing 80 odd in the outside lane on his phone.

Shook my head at him and he stuck his middle finger up at me the cheeky twat.

So I pulled in behind his car, followed him for a mile or two and the reaction changes immediately.

Shithouses most people. You just have to find a way to play on it.

  15. Absolutely report him to his employer. A quick word from his boss will more than likely have a big impact as you've not really got a case for calling the police. The employer will be very concerned to think they may have a significant insurance claim looming if he continues to drive like this. I don't give a damn about a driver losing their job if it means saving a life or reducing serious injury.

  16. If someone phoned my boss and said i was riding erratically/dangerously on my way to work i know for a fact she wouldn't give less of a shit as long as i actually made it into work.

I think people overstimate how many people actually give a shit about this sort of thing. Going on the number of people that seem to think its ok to speed on their phones, i wouldnt be at all surprised if his boss didnt sit there all day long on his phone would you?

  17. A bit of a stretch that mind. Reporting a driver on a mobile phone whilst driving is only a short step from becoming a fully paid up member of The Stasi in a police state. :Wideyed:

  18. Definitely report this idiot to his company - and say you are considering reporting him to the police.
Yes, he could easily kill someone... Sounds like you were lucky it he didn't do you any harm.
Using a phone whilst driving is illegal - and for a good reason. Hands-free kits are cheap and easy to fit : there is no excuse for for using a handheld phone whilst driving...

  19. What about the person in the house over the road making a 999 call for help at the same time? Is the look on their face "funny as fuck" when the call is dropped?
