And the it's my right to be able to use one and I would reply it's my right to use the road without getting killed or injured
i dont know if the technology's available but could they incorporate speed cameras to pick up people with a mobile phone signal thats in use?
It has to become socially unacceptable, like not wearing a seat belt or drink driving. Nobody argues that it is their right to have a few pints and drive these days. That's where we need to be at with phones. Greater punishment for the use of a phone while driving is probably the answer. Unfortunately, especially for younger people, they seem incapable of functioning without their phone stuck to the end of their nose. How many times a day to you almost get bumped into by someone walking towards you more interested in FaceTube then where they are heading.
I have to say in defence of the young ones Middle aged women are worse for being on phones either through checkout or in general ignoring their kids and bumping into you Teenagers/young adults are surprisingly less likely to ignore you when on phone or in hand in my experience here
No you are 100% correct in what you are saying - but because the home office come down like a ton of bricks on anyone selling any device that can block or drop a mobile signal they are never advertised as such devices? They have been used in the past to block/jam signals/transmissions from cash in transit vans that are being attacked
interesting to see apple has patented a blocker that stops people taking pictures at concerts but they cant stop people driving on their phones Apple has devised a way to stop people taking pictures and video at gigs - Mirror Online youd have thought the latter was a far more worthy cause to invest your time and money in wouldnt you
