Well I think a plan B is going to be needed. I have spindle from flea bay which is too long..... Bugger So I'm now wondering which is going to be the easier solution, find a couple of big fat washers or see if a local machine shop can shorten it and rethread the end. Ho hum....
Sorry, but I more or less ITYS.........My M16 die is too worn, so send it to finaledition and ask him to cut it and turn a new thread........But make sure the existing thread is the right length as well....post no.6 gives the dimensions. But check them against the swingarm itself.....I have simply measured what I have here. AL.
You have a monster 900/888 spindle mate. Relist it and mention it's for a 851/888/900 monster, it will sell quick! or get it machined down. Your alloy swinger is a 900ssie one which is the same as the carby ss one. The later 900ssie ohlins, 5 spoke has the later completly different swingarm which is stronger also used on the 1000ssie.
