Reassembling The 900ss

Discussion in 'Supersport (1974-2007)' started by ck_uk, Jun 19, 2021.

  1. What's the best way to go about reassembling an SS? I seem to recall seeing a custom built wooden-frame structure on the forum here, but can't find the thread. Any guidance greatly appreciated.

  3. I made this for my 750 it was ok at best, had to faff about with a trolley jack to get the front end back in, not ideal. But did the job on a bike I wasn't overly precious about.

  12. I did it the other way around by supporting the engine, bolting the frame to it, and building up from there.
