Recommended Ducati Service Specialists In East Sussex?

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by RichieW, Nov 30, 2018.

  1. Good afternoon all,
I´ve not been on for a while. I hope all is well.

Although I´m based in Malaga my Duke currently lives in East Sussex, about six miles from Rye and Hastings. The bike has not been ridden for over six years and has been in storage. I used to use Baines Racing at Silverstone to change the belts and check valve clearances etc but my folks have moved to the South Coast which is an area I am not particularly familiar with.

Would anyone be able to recommend a reliable Ducati specialist in this area please? It does not have to be an official Ducati dealership in order to service my old 900FE but at least someone with a good reputation who knows and likes Ducatis!

    Thanks for your help,
    Richie.

  2. Not heard of these before but they came up on a Google - look old school though so maybe not modern stuff

  3. Kent isn't a million miles away, lots of people use Pro-team in strood . I've used them for a couple of years and so have friends .

  5. Paul at PG Performance in Eastleigh is probably not a million miles from you.
    He just does Ducati.
Took the Panigale down to him in the van and he delivered back to me when done. He will do a collect & return.
Great job and very reasonable money too

  8. Plus one for Pro Team here. They were good when I used them.

  9. I have had good experience from Pro team too. They do a 'pick up and collect service' for very reasonable price too.

  10. Thank you all and Feliz Ano Nuevo.

  11. @Chris is down that way I believe.

  12. Has anyone actually got to speak with Ducati Proteam? never answer the phone or reply to messages left.
I will be sticking with laguna Performance in Ashford.

  13. Yes, no problems at all. Alec is the owner, with Andy helping him. I used them a few months ago.
There Facebook page is now protean Italia.

  14. Pietro runs Moto di Marino. It’s a cavern of old school Italian racing bikes and he is a proper gent.

  15. He is very capable for engines, suspension set up and service.
This is my 1199 after a total dismantle and refresh by him recently.
