999 Reducing Steering Lock

  1. Hi everyone,

    I have the Brembo RCS19 mounted to OEM clip-ons and at the angle I like to have the lever, the plastic span adjuster slightly touches the support for the dash.

    Any practical way of reducing steering lock on the 999 ?

  2. Get a 749R bottom yoke and use a customised lockstop plate?

  4. The lock stops are adjustable at least on the sandcast bottom triple.

  7. Digging up this old thread to say that lo and behold….I can adjust steering lock on my 999.

    I have these on each lock stop.

    Begin to wonder if it’s been raced….

  8. Those adjusters are standard on many Ducatis.
    Actually, I don't think I've owned one that doesn't have them.
