They say you must change the speedo for a mph one. However my bike went to VOSA for testing and I bought a new card in mph/kph (sticker). I had to take the clocks apart, remove the old card (kph only) and stick the new one in (mph/kph). The fact that the the speedo still recorded in Kilometres didn't matter as that isn't part of the test and the examiner recorded the distance in kilometres on the test. I then went for an MOT with the same, distance is recorded on the computer in kilometres. I used www.lockwoodinternational.co.uk for my card.
What roughly was the cost please? It’s a bit of sticking point for potential buyers is the clocks. Cheers
It cost me £79.95 + P&P for the card which was cheaper than £600 for new clocks and the back light shines through the same as the OEM part. They say if they don't make it contact them and they will make it.
