My mistake, I was reading/thinking Showa forks which are not compatible - the hole in the bottom of the mount is bigger on the 999 and so the 916 type forks won't fit it. Ohlins probably use the same 'core' in both models.
i had a pair of 999 ohlins and wanted 998 radial from them it turned out they were the same…………..in all honesty i don't know about showa why be a pirate when you can be in the navy...:wink:
