Bearing in mind Ducati think it’s acceptable to fit threaded steel inserts into plastic mouldings and apply thread-lock to the fasteners (so that when you try to unscrew them the insert turns in the plastic rather than the fastener unscrewing), has anyone taken the Allen screws out of the rear indicator mounts?, I put an Allen key on one of mine earlier and it feels very tight!, I’m wondering if a sharp blow on the Allen key will overcome it or whether applying heat to the fastener with a soldering iron to soften the threadlock (if there is any there?) is the way to go?.
For anyone wanting to remove their indicators I can confirm that threadlock isn’t used on the rears, mine was just tight, a quick crack on the Allen key undid it.
