999 Replacement Battery.

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by 999Mark, Dec 21, 2018.

  1. In winter I take them out.

It only takes 6 minutes to charge on a basic battery charger.

When in the bike I can ride for more than enough time to charge the battery and it is absolutely fine. I say, it, I have 3 of them. One in a K1300S with a 200 mile tank range. So it’s done some very long runs. If it wasn’t safe, it would not be allowed.

Like everything else, if you buy a low quality one or don’t follow the instructions then you will more likely have problems

Screwfix sells chainsaws, Gas boilers, angle grinders and lawn mowers.
    ... if you want a go?o_O
Just follow the instructions / guidance (laws?) from the person that designed it ;)

  3. I have a chainsaw

That’s what CE marking and construction standard are for.

  4. ...have you taken it apart and changed it's specification whilst maintaining it's CE approval status?

  5. Why would I need to take it apart? Or change it’s spec

I suppose if people are stupid enough not to follow instructions then that’s their problem. I don’t feel responsible for stupid people.
