You only need the Torque wrench if you want to take the wheel off. Any other bike brand would require the same if you wanted to take a wheel/sprocket etc off. Surely you have a pair of pliers to shape the retainer pin ? If not, then I guess the dealer can do it, but its a very easy fix.
looking at the retainer pin on the other side, its about the same shape would be waisting my time, so I'll let the dealer bother with these pins and wheels For now, its good enough.
