Rev Counter Drive

  1. My rev counter works intermittently and I think I've narrowed the fault down to the drive from the cylinder head. To get the shaft out to look at the helical gear I need to pull this brass fitting away
    from the head but it's in there pretty tight.

    Has anyone got any tips on getting it out?

  2. Think you have to press the shaft out by using pressure on it from the unthreaded end.
