Yeah, I've been looking at that one. Not keen on white wheels though and it's a very long way from me in Selkirk.

I was on my way to look at the one in Carlisle yesterday but had to turn back for work. The other 2 i've seen and would like to go and see them but no time at the moment.
I'd say you've answered your own question right there ^^^. I've had both the S2R and S4RS, both awesome bikes and depending what type of use your looking at would depend on which to choose. I miss them both, the S2R I had, had the 11 big bore kit, which gave it a little more poke.
Get an 1100S. Still aircooled but later model and full of Öhlins and carbon. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_...00S.TRS0&_nkw=ducati+monster+1100s&_sacat=422
S4RS is a stunning bike, great looks, good performance and the last of the proper Monsters before they made them ugly as sin (imho). Only small negative is that they are so much fun that you will see the fuel light in as little as 70 miles and if you're having a really good time even sooner. . See one - buy it you won't regret it.
