So. Just because an object has been created to fulfil a certain function doesn't prevent it from also being a work of art. An object does not have to be created purely to be looked at, without any other function, to be called art. A car or a motorbike is designed and built for functional purposes, obviously, but can also be considered as a sculpture. At a guess, many of the users on this forum acquire vehicles as much for their sculptural properties as for their practical uses. Am I right?
