Aimed at the US market do you think ? I’ve never heard of the ‘Mint 400’ but then I don’t follow off road racing so not a big surprise. Still a 200+ kg bike to be lugging around desert scrub land. Andy
This is a product line that needs to be allowed to mature, not constantly be dragged awkwardly into territory that makes people cringe. Scrambler is a great bike with a really clunky marketing instinct. If they made a desert racer version akin to a Dakar rally bike then that'd be so cool... or a retro Elefant sort of a thing, but make it lightweight and make it fun / cheap. I'm not sure how many new motorcyclists would be willing to drop £10k on a hipster toy, and making the Scrambler a hipster toy is doing a great bike a terrible disservice.
