  1. chortle. never underestimate the short sightedness and cultural cringe inherent in the, proud scot but.
    5mins research tells us the costs associated with promoting Gaelic and scots. 5 mins more tells you the income and profit associated with selling culture and history. language being a part of it. ferk me. one annual MOD generates around 4mill a pop of extra income for the small towns that host it, much of which comes from overseas visitors who are there specifically for the week long event. the total figure is in the billions annually. just one dude and his words written in scots who bided not too far from the angry guy is worth over 200mill annually to the......wait for it.......UK economy. because it aint allocated as one would wish does not make it any less viable.
