Shame as he's a great rider and a cracking bloke, but if you ain't cutting it, the premier league is a tough world.
I can't help but be annoyed though with the way Aprilia go about signing these riders. 4-5 races into a 18 race season and he is sacked, yes he has been sub par and I think crashing out last week probably sealed his fate but unless they basically told him over winter it would only ever be a 1 year gig it seems even more cut throat than usual.
