Seized Front Sprocket.

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by West Cork Paul, Aug 1, 2019.

  1. SPREXIT ! :D

    The peanut butter worked a treat:)

    Continuing the vein and mixing metaphors between a sports match and Brexit I sneaked into the garage earlier this evening so as to take Sprocket by surprise. ‘Right’ I thought, ‘you’ve had too much possession you little b’stid’. ‘The eejit is going to knock you into next week’:punch::punch::punch:

    I took a socket extension and a hammer and attacked from the rear (again). Catching Sprocket unawares, this time I sensed some movement in the right direction ie towards the exit:astonished:

    After some persuasion the Leavers have departed taking the Remainers with them, and all before the 31st October:D

    At the request of @Expat Jack I set up the stage lighting and camera so grab your popcorn for 1.05 mins of the most boring docuseries ever.

    ps. Thank you all for your help:upyeah:

    pps. Actually the handbag sale was to fund some more farkles but the ad’s been taken down now:(; someone objected:( (I should have just lied and said it was real:confused:)

  2. Awesome! I just loved the way the sprocket halves radiated glorious light as the last hit drove them into freedom! Almost like they were celebrating freedom!
    Hope you licked off the remaining peanut butter!

  3. I won't lie, a little bit of wee leaked out there. /emosh

    Need a new cause to get behind now that this is over. Anyone know, is "Climate Change Awareness" a worthy movement?

  5. My advice - don't fit a new sprocket, it will only end in tears.

  10. Well that was an anti-climax :thinkingface::D
    Fit a 15 tooth this time - that will make more of a challenge to remove in 2039.....

  19. Already done:D a nice new QR one, and carrier, from JT. I just realised in the kerfuffle with the front one I haven’t taken a photo of the new rear one yet:confused:
