  9. Any plant/ hgv or bus garage will have a hyd pullers. I'm sure they would lone for a few hours or even come take it of for a few beers. None close by?

    So I gave up (for today) and went for a ride on the red one instead (with daughter no.2 as pillion):).

  15. Paul, no schadenfreude intended, but this thread is brilliant! I know it's no fun for you but boy is it entertaining us!

    Have you thought of having the offending sprocket mounted and presented annually to the "best" mechanical fail. It could be called something like "The Buggered Phillips Trophy". Just a thought.......;)

  16. i dont know if its been posted already, but you can refit the chain and leave the sprocket loose, a short ride and few hard blips on the throttle will loosen it.
