seizing front brake

  1. Could possibly be some damage to the push rod sleave not allowing it to fully return, I had this on my rear brake. Food for thought. Steve.

  2. this....IMHO* I would remove and clean the master cylinder, inspecting the pushrod and area for fluid, crap and clean thoroughly with a suitable brake cleaner before refitting as there could be a blockage.
IMHO*,I would still wind back the pushrod 'bucket' in the lever to allow for expansion an additional half turn, refit everything, re-bleed the system and take a gentle ride out.....

*Assuming one is allowed to voice an opinion of their own? Tis a forum after all....
