A bit old school these days but if you have a local milkman get doorstep deliveries. Many also sell other things than just milk such as eggs, fruit and veg etc.
I have had milk delivered to the door most of my life until last year when the round changed hands, in stead of the milk being on the doorstep before 7/30 am it was being delivered mid morning when we were at work, the milk was stood in the summer heat until we got home so unfortunately we had to stop doorstep deliveries, such a shame. That’s no good. It needs to be there first thing. I don’t envy milkmen, I get up at 4:30am which is bad enough but I know a few milkmen and they’re up at 2:30-3am to get the deliveries out. Mind you they are done by mid morning and I’m still about a 7pm. Part of the job.
Make sure they still wash their hands and use sanitizer even with the gloves on. Gloves are only useful if they are disposed of once the use, ie Birdie’s milk buying job, is done. Otherwise, if they’re on all day it defeats the object, hence wash & sanitise just like if you didn’t have them on if you can’t dispose and change constantly.
my supliers are out of stock, we have a box and a half left. tell you what tho, i'm not long going for my first dump in a pair of gloves. interesting.

I live within 150 meters of a long section of straight bypass. I was out in my back garden yesterday enjoying the spring sun and relative peace offered by less than average car traffic. However, there was a very noticable increase in the number of screaming bikes very obviously taking the piss.
yes, thought this yesterday as couldn't miss several "tuned" cars and bikes driving by much faster than usual late evening.
Well, it's Monday and one bike was due to go in for a service and MOT. I spoke to the dealership this morning and their service dept is still open although their sales side is shut; I postponed my service and MOT for a couple of months.
Just got back from a massive corona virus friendly ride of about 3hrs non stop. In that time NZ has been declared in a state of emergency. My wife won't let me go out anymore she reckons for 4 weeks. Am hoping in that time to see her in her "enforcer" role if you know what I mean! I may have to antagonize her a bit!
