Hi guys so the S DVT with its expensive LED headlights show a yellow beam not a xenon white beam of car led lighting? I have a standard/base/cheaper DVT bike and it's 4 halogen bulbs - two for dip two for main. They are yellow and even the tiny side light leds (which are there just to comply with EU & other state laws) are even yellow........If you can all mention which bike you have please cos I has the dumb....Ta muchly.[emoji12]
No it does not have a yellow beam, it's pure white. The outer fringe beyond the high beam focused white spot has a less bright halo which appears to be slightly pale yellow simply because it's less bright .
An update to the thread. Dealer has found that there was more adjustment in the headlight unit and got it pointing further down to DOT spec. I have not ridden at night since but expect a great improvement. A new fuel gauge sender is also on it's way.
