possibly, if i had the money i would buy it myself 4 birth and easy big enough for 3 bikes and a workshop in the back, in fact i might make her an offer.
My lil peugeot partner... i love it... dual fuel, with lpg costing me 50p p/l thats a score to fill up and get bout 220 miles. Its just a mobile tool box really. had it 4 years now only paid £2300.00 at the time when most same age were goin for around 5k. Done starter motor today, bit of a shite of a job 1hr to get out 15 mins to put back. took longer riding around looking for part. got price of europarts of 56.00 incl and was told there where 2 in stock in hayes, ride there and the tell me that price is an online price (even tho i told the lady i was picking it up and was advised to take old one with me to get that price!). best price they could do was 100.00 plus vat... get me the f ing manager. after half an hr arguing i get him down to 69.00+ vat so he goes and gets it, wrong one, none in stock.... But harrow branch have 2, back on bike off to harrow repeat argument for 20 mins, go thru 6 starters before finding 1 that matched.. paid 67.20 incl in the end... @finm think it would be nearly imposible to change out from underneath.. removed airbox and did from top, one bolt was blind but doable!
haha yes... was just typing a moan bout that! see my work space in the pic? thank fuk i could do it from top!!
yea few quid saved but i wouldn't wanna do it for a living! waddaymean ugly? i dont know why but i like em and it's really nice to drive for what it is... mind you i had an escort van before this so....
from my experience with this one i would buy another anyday.. not fast by any stretch but i dont often do long runs in it, if im workin more than an hrs drive away i b an b it.. its great for my needs and although id like something to fit the bike in last time i had a big van i got roped into all sorts of missions of a weekend!
Tbh they are not a bad van,no Volkswagen but you don't pay VW money for them As in all things, the sufferers of horror stories shout louder than the bearers of good news. Good for bikes as long as you remember to duck if you ride up the ramp :Banghead:
