749 Showa Rear Shock

  1. Hi
    Is it worth changing the standard sach rear shock on my 749 to a Showa off a 749s.
    Would I notice any Major benefits or would It be minimal?

  4. I read on another forum that the Showa shock is a very good shock with proper spring and valving installed. I am in the process of rebuilding a Showa shock for my 749 right now. I will be fitting the correct spring for my weight, and installing a Race Tach Gold valve. I has to be better than the Sachs which is crap.

  5. i saw an ohlins 749 fitment on ebay for about 350 the other day. what would the showa cost?
