916 Slipper Clutch

Discussion in '748 / 916 / 996 / 998' started by Thecoke1, Oct 27, 2017.

  1. Thanks to everyone, I'm going to give some serious thought to whether I replace my worn clutch with a standard or slipper one. I'm probably leaning towards a standard one given I like to use engine braking. I'm a road only rider and I would not describe my riding style as 'spirited' but more like 'pottering'.

    Cheers,

    Bob.

  2. You still have engine breaking under normal riding, it's only when breaking hard and going down the box. I only normally get it kicking in on the road when entering roundabouts or coming off slip roads. Normal A road riding you won't get it kicking in.
