  5. man, i could have this thread all to my self. yesterday i was mostly fitting rear wheel bearings to an impatient teenagers bike. what should of been a half hours job turned into 3. spindle seized on the spacers. not a problem had we been repairing it at the workshop, but a major deal when the workshop is 30mls away and the only heat you have is a clipper lighter. and a gallon of petrol stashed for that day when you just know you are gonna lose the rag and torch the whole fuggin machine.
luckily, the spindle has a nut either end, so it could be drawn out using washers and shit robbed from the mrs fiat dobber. fiats rock. :upyeah:

  7. Terry, is this that lad’s bike from Jen’s BBQ a few years back? I’ve still not seen a 748/998 bike with the Carbon Dream body work on in the flesh…

  8. Well the pic was taken at Rising Bridge services, Accrington. :)

  9. Mosfett’d the 916 using a 1200 monster reg and the Trumpet umbilical cable. Think my std reg was running a little high o/p as I’m forever having to top off the yuasa battery after every ride. Just fitted spade connectors to the oem alternator wires which are a snug fit on the trumpet connector. Will swap to a proper plug when I locate one that fits. Nice +14v o/p when running over 2krpm. Oh & swapped the carbon clutch cover for a Oem Streetfighter one as I like the gold colour, shame it’s the wrong Ducati font .
