  1. Had a similar conversation on our recent euro roadtrip .
How have you got so many clothes in the smallest bag out of everyone?
Because his clothes are child sizes ! :)

  2. Moved the bikes and cars from the house into the cabinet along with some printed stands for the hot wheels. Then fitted the quick shifter assembly and some mismatched rearsets to the radical. IMG_1566.jpeg IMG_1568.jpeg IMG_1574.jpeg

  3. Collected the Pikes Peak from my local indi after her Desmo service. Excellent work from Tim at MotoVation Racing as usual, maybe confirmation bias but on the short ride home the bike was running better than ever. No valves needed adjustment. Change of oil, coolant, brake and clutch fluids, air filter, oil filter, new plugs. No issues apparent in gauze filter. £720 lighter but it'll be a while before I need that again. He reckons it's quite usual for first Desmo service to require no adjustment, but frequently on the second.

  5. Just dropped the Nightstorm off at SWB Racing in Ebbw Vale to replace the rear shocks and put emulators in the front ones. Will Burchell is a road racer and really knows his stuff when it comes to suspension set up, highly recommended if you are looking to transform your ride with just a few turns of a screw :bucktooth:

  6. Took the little Aprilia RS4 50 for it's MOT, passed with 2 advisories, Transalp tomorrow as there was a cancellation so I took the earlier slot instead of waiting another week.

Slap the little fella on eBay over the weekend to make more room in my garage. Mrs is hankering after a classic Mini, her prefered model is the Mary Quant whereas mine is a Z Mini with say a Hayabusa engine in it not sure if there is any middle ground to be had there.:)

  7. There was a mini rose (white with pink roof) around here a few years ago that was mid engined. It was a proper beast. Sadly the guy put a clubman flip front on and sprayed it metallic blue which spoiled it. I still think an original Mini being thrashed within an inch of its life is the close to the best value fun on four wheels. For a while they were making stupid money but seem to have got a bit more sensible lately.
