I would Peter but tbh I've talked about it for days on apple forums etc, google the problems if your interested in some bed time reading, all I will say is IMO it's a big let down in many ways on Apples part and goes against all that Apple stands for! Very disappointing for iPad and iPhone users and a big step backwards I hope they sort all of the issues talked about widely on the net.
The reaon I will not have anything with an Apple logo in my life is the corporate greed that Apple has displayed over the last few years as it takes out law suit after law suit on anyone else who dare make a table/smartphone. FFS the world is big enough and people should have the choice of which brand they want in their pocket.
Little tip for all! No matter what the device or whatever the operating system is.....ALWAYS stay at least one version behind from newest, because ALL of the manufacturers don't invest in proper beta testing time and let the end user pay for the privilege of testing for them, suffering all the issues and having to report them then wait for a bug fixed version. The outgoing version of the OS's have always already gone through this cycle, and been fixed.

I'm not buying till nov , how long generally does it take to iron out the teething probs with a new model. Maybe I'd be better getting the 4 or a Samsung galaxy , or oh gods sake
Tbh Peter IMO I think you can buy with no problem, if your new to smart phones and pads etc then you have nothing to miss out on, I'm not a lover of iPhones and have a HTC myself but use my iPad3 all the time now, I have quad core quad display PCs with RAID 1 storage systems so concider myself a hard core computer nut, if your not too into the file systems of different devices etc etc then I would say stick to Apple get the iPhone and an iPad, they will work happily together with little worry of how to move files and compatibility issues... No one can say how long or even IF Apple would fix any of the bugs with the new OS tbh it's rare that they would even say there is a problem! I think you will get a lot of pleasure from both and that's from me, a PC nut and techno nut who's a little anti Apple . IF you choose to go away from Apple then imo try and stick with one OS, so Android phone then get an Android pad, however storage and file compat... problems can be made much easier with things like Dropbox...but that's just my view others may say different I will say the Samsung is a VERY nice smartphone if you wanted to avoid Apple..
Oh and since I've found out my webmail no longer works on iOS6 my mint iPad3 32GB 4G with 3 mobile SIM may well be up for sale after to tomorrow's support call! And that will be me out of Apple for EVER! GRRRRR what a way to spoil a product!
Lol, I wish, all my other devices work fine I have a number of accounts for email... Even SkyFire does the same yet my Android phone and PCs work fine iPad was OK before OS upgrade so I'm gutted now! Anyway this is Peters thread so I won't keep going on about my own problems... Shame Apple don't support downgrades of iOS even if a customers system worked fine on an older OS that solves problems associated with upgrade OS...oh we'll if it was thicker I could use it as a door stop! Lol maybe a sly downgrade...
I don't think it's iOS6 though cos my iPad and iPhone are good for three web mail accounts I have. I've just double checked and its all hunky dory.
Well just tried another iPad (only a 2) that was working pre OS 6 and same thing, host is madasafish.com works as I say on PC and Android devices so I'm afraid my good man it is OS6
No it's new Safari in iOS6 and SkyFire, just found Atomic LITE and it works fine....temp fix...and tbh a nice browser!
El Toro if his webmail is flash or Silverlight no support for that on Apple products, I think they now have html 5 support. I think even full now not just special prepared websites.
No flash, just simple HTML scripts, not even HTML5! Like I said now working in Atomic browser but not iOS6 Safari or Skyfire.
