Unlucky Evo. Hope your back turns out good as new. Have a speedy recovery. :Hurting: Stick it to his insurance. 1290 Superdukes are nice...
Sounds bloody nasty chap! Hope you are gonna be ok? Did you hear the twat in car sliding towards you or was it a total shock? I've been knocked off bikes by car drivers a few times in my 40+ years of riding but never been hit up the back! (No jokes needed!)
Jez, you are a caring bunch. Thank you for the messages. I'm fine, just a bump, I do remember thinking how the hell did I get over here, lying on the grass I looked at a massive lamp post beside me thinking, lucky I didn't hit that f ing thing. Didn't see it coming, just sitting there and bang. There is no way you are holding on, its just sky and ground, you are just along for the ride. Nothing exciting unfortunately. I just want my bike back as soon as possible. Its just a nuisance not having it. The person was a bit shook up so I asked a few times were they OK, seemed fine though, just a bit shocked. Wifey was a bit worried looking, but she had a strange look when I said how sunny and dry it was and I was taking the 959 out when I got home. That look was the scary bit. Poor wifey, she needs a motorbike.
One of the exhibitors sending two passes Can only go on the Sunday though and now I need to find somewhere nearby to watch the rugby
The sun was out so went for a quick blast today. After putting the bike away back in the garage I had to go back into the garage sometime later. Nothing like smelling the 'thrash' coming off your bike. Roll on more sunny days.
As its February and I have very little work I finally got out on the Mutley. Tried out the new (to me) Ducati Dainese D Dry jacket and AGV flip helmet. Both great. Shame the jacket doesnt zip to the Dainese leather trousers but not a biggie....
towpath cycling for around 6 miles (must get a speedo next) knee not too bad/got travel details for Excel show.
That is odd, I have the D-Dry jacket and it zips to different generation Dainese fabric and leather trousers as does the Dainese Air jacket and the Dainese race two piece jacket with a hump. Andy
Strange. My leathers are quite old but the zip on them is about 3/4 whereas the D Dry jacket is about 1/2 round. Doesnt matter though really as I am still well covered and have the back protector underneath aswell....
Today well - sold a 2003 Merc E320 Diesel finally today after being deluged with "what's best price/last price my friend" masses!Bloody hell - must have had every sodding mini cab driver in country e mailing and txtin me! Never ever again folks
