Yes I need 20 sessions in 4 weeks so fairly intensive - then maybe one a week for a while to maintain. I went in with a headache and came out without one - not that I'm having the treatment for migraine although it's had pretty good results for migraine sufferers
Falling like flies around us but managed to make sure it was only the soles of our feet that touched the ground. Reckon it might be a new rectifier/ regulator as well as the battery. Got a spare engine stashed if it's anything worse. Andy
A bit of painting. Need to sort the finish out, just deciding if I stick original or silver frame colour/anniversary red......
Drove the nearly 800km from Mojacar to Barcelona in about 8 hours with a couple of comfort stops. Hotel upgraded our room which was nice and we have just enjoyed a light repast in Bar Lobo which is almost next door to the hotel. Garlic clams, deep fried slices of aubergine with a honey and soy drizzle, meat balls with squid and mushroom and ham croquettes topped off with a pear tarte tatin and coffee. Tomorrow is a trip to the Segrada to catch up on the building and restoration progress since we visited 10 years ago and some much needed chillin'. Barcelona is packed, it's been the annual mobile congress since the weekend. Modern technology, who needs it ? . Andy
Today I got the last of the first 600 miles clocked up. Yay. So now I'm pretty much off the road until I get the oil change service done. :Sorry:
Did they mention the Day of Champions on the Thursday ? I was faithfully promised details would be e-mailed out early February but nothing so far. Andy
Decided to build my own chain oiler. Not a complete tight Arse, just like mucking about building gadgets. Oil motor has turned up and that will be controlled by an electronic timer that's on order and I'll be able to change on the fly. All running off the bike only when on, should be good. I've ordered a scottoiler applicator for about £9, the motor and timer were about £15 and then I've got a master cylinder reservoir coming too but I may change this for a bigger one that I can hide somewhere discreet as I don't want to be filling it every ride.
Gym, mowed moss/kitty litter excuse for lawns. Going to take a ride to High Wycombe to see a guy about bike paint....
Mot'd the Cub, straight through, but to be fair it's just had new tyres, new wheel bearings and new shocks. There isn't much more to a cub!
Today feeling better so I took the DVT out for a little ride for the first time in three weeks - I haven't really been up to it lately. Nothing like a canter to perk one up!
Was 100% I saw blue flashing lights in the mirrors today. I really hate those blue Xenon bulbs in cars! Neutral light has stopped working on GSXR but can live with it for a bit as neutral is so easy to find. Bike is so much easier to ride than the 996, but missing a little "jena se qua". A bit like a microwave dinner is easier to cook. I really miss the clutch rattle when I pull the lever in too, maybe I'm just strange.
