Today I have cleaned the scrambler as it was covered in crud from yesterday's adventure. I've also vacuumed the car (very rare thing) and done bot all else, but eat, sleep, lay on sofa and watch footy. I'll be pissing SWMBO off even more in a bit when I watch the MotoGP
I've done 4/5ths of FA all day, while sitting on a boat heading into rain. Presume you're watching highlights later, what time is it on? I'll try n get back for it.
Stopped to see if we could help a 748 parked on side road - clutch had departed its basket so not a lot ! Luckily he was local
Went to look/checkout a car that my son wants to buy to make sure it's a proper thing and not a clocked, gimped up piece of shit? It's a 2008 BMW Z4 3.0 Sport coupe Auto (paddle) - his choice not mine! Bit too hairdresser/Air steward for my taste.Although I'm in the motortrade I've not really noticed the coupe derivative on the road - probably cos there don't seem to be that many about - might be something to do with the nearly £40,000 price tag new by the time you put a few extras on it?Gotta say it's sort of an ugly beautiful car and the look of it is growing on me gradually. The best thing about it is the grunt and the handling (sports pack) - bloody hell it proper gets up and goes!!!
Just finished first lot of graphics on my sons "Gumball Rally" under £500 banger that he's driving down through France in soon on A charity car rally.Found him a mint 2001 Y reg VX Omega 2.5 CDX V6 manual in lovely metallic green! Bloody thing is fully loaded with heated seats, everything electric you can get - even got factory Sat Nav and service history file an inch thick - £100!!!
Lovely day here today up early washed and polished the multi then off around the Cheshire plaines to get it all muddy again! Madnesses!
Not sure chap but there are quite a few still going on.Car isn't finished yet - it looks a bit too civilised but my son is a solicitor and I think all the other entrants are as well so it can't be too outrageous?
Working from home today, have to look after the kids (one of the benefits of being in IT) so, mug of tea, laptop on, watching WSB Aragon on Eurosport....kids still in bed...bliss..
I was actually in full sales bullshit mode with a Billy Bunter on the Black Honda with the freshly painted door (some old tosser booted it in!) when Chizel pitched up in his van to collect the 749/999 rear exhaust that I put on forum! Dealt him at full up adv price, paid n gone. Thank god
Fitted a nice carbon end can to the leo vince De-cat pipe and gave it a quick start-up and blip... Must get the baffle out... then headed off to work. My eBay bounty...
I know the feeling - in the same situation at the mo. Work and hayfever are a PITA, I keep waking up at 2am remembering things I haven't done then can't get back to sleep due to sneezing. Other half is amazing, if it were me I'd throw myself out
Forgot there are no trains from Bristol to London this week so after arriving at temple meads had to turn round and drive to Bath to catch the train !! :Arghh:
