Polished both Duc's. Being a fair weather rider makes cleaning bikes so much easier.

 

And I've decided to do the 999 wheels black and paint her OEM yellow, with a bit of black.

 

Yellow with black wheels is good, but what do you mean by a bit of black :Wideyed::Nailbiting:

I'm thinking a little belly pan stripe from the front bottom fairing point to about the clutch, going up at an angle. And a black V piece behind the front wheel.

 

like that, but just the blue bit at the bottom in black.

 

I always feel disappointed for folk that make the effort to come here and then the weather pisses all over their visit. It's because I know what Scotland has to offer bikers when the weather is good and I like it when visitors get that. I'm lucky because I'm only 4 hours from the furthest part of the mainland from me. May and September El T. Quieter roads, no camper vans, few midges and settled spells of weather.

 

My birthday today - spent most of the day moaning about my mashed big toe! Wheelchair guy managed. To run into it in pub and should know better cos I had a fuckin huge Adam Ant boot on it but I bit my tongue as you do.Went home for birthday lunch and pulled top door of fridge/freezer open a bit too enthusiastically and a large bottle of girlfriends lucozade fell out of door - yes you guessed it - a direct hit! Neighbours learned a whole lot of new words - god it hurts!!! Gettin pin drilled into it tomorrow and I know it's gonna turn into proper drama cos I'm diabetic 1 and jab 4/5 times a day! Ho hum

 

Umm, many happy returns? I mean, not all of it. Just the bits that didn't hurt.

Fuck me! I know your a big guy so how big was the fellow that boot was made for.

 

I've got size 11/11.5 plates and the orthopaedic boot is actually tight on me and uncomfortable as hell! Looks like it was made for the BFG!

 

Now I understand why the person in the wheelchair hit it. The hospital should have given you traffic cones with it.

 

. It was a bloody heavy duty electric wheelchair! Had everything but 4 wheel drive?
