  6. I bumped into an old mate earlier today.

    I asked "What you up to these days"..??

    He replied "I prepare meals for the homeless, illegal immigrants, drug addicts, piss-heads and down & outs"..

    I said "Are you working in a Charity drop-in centre"..???

    He says "No, I'm the chief cook at Wetherspoons in the town centre "

  7. Playing doctors and nurses with the wife in the bedroom last night was going down great -

    until the moment I diagnosed her as being "clinically obese"

Well today and for the past 15 days I have endured 50+ degree heat and mega hot winds :sweat::splat: whilst walking to my air conditioned office to login and follow the posts on this forum, (oh and do the occasional bit of work too off course) and I've got another 29 days to go...pure hell!

  14. Washed the bikes and polished/waxed yesterday :).

    The car had puncture on a tyre and they were all near/past limit so 4 new tyres for £333 :-(

  17. Tip for today (courtesy of Viz)

    Save money on expensive chocolate biscuits by buying ordinary digestives and coating them with melted chocolate.

    The chocolate is easily obtained by scraping it off a packet of chocolate digestives, which can then be used as ordinary 'visitors " biscuits.

    It's a win win really.
